The Google Maps API error generally happens when the same API key is being used twice on the same page.

Requirement – This block is a part of The Plus Blocks for Gutenberg, make sure its installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
For example, if you’ve added Google Maps API in your theme and you are also using the same API key in The Plus Settings → Extra Options → Google Map API Key section, this will cause an error in the browser console.
To fix this problem go to The Plus Settings → Extra OptionsScroll down to the other Google Map API Key section and from the dropdown choose either None or Hide then click on Save, this will remove the error and your map will show on the page.
